The Nevilaires Chorus for the Blind was started in 1977 and has inspired singers in the blind community in Philadelphia ever since. Performing several times throughout the year, they bring joy and a sense of purpose to senior centers, churches and hospitals throughout Philadelphia and the suburbs. Led by Margaret Lea, The Nevilaires are proud to join the BuxMont Free-Range choir in this offering for the community.
The Free-Range Choir of BuxMont UU Fellowship is made up of members of the BuxMont community. Following a long history of choral and group singing at BuxMont, the choir, led by Margaret Lea, presents special choral music one or two times per month in services and supports hymn leading and congregational singing. Designed to accommodate the reality of modern busy life, any person can join the choir at any time as long as they can breathe deeply and sing with enthusiasm.
