Send Your Thanks NOW - Tried By Faith: Punished for Belief

Support Pastor Frank Schaefer standing on the side of love.

Declaring, "I will never be silent again," Pastor Frank Schaefer accepts that the United Methodist Church will defrock him for supporting marriage equality because it is counter to church law.

In appreciation of his principled stand we invite you to send you a message of thank-you and support to Rev. Schaefer. The Blue Boat blog will collect your messages and cards and forward them to Rev. Schaefer, before Thanksgiving.

As a registered United Methodist Church member, I have to tell Reverend Schaeffer that I support his decision to stand up for the rights of his members. I can not even imagine the pain this is inflicting on you and your family, so I just want to say that there are many of us who support you out here! Keep the faith, and soldier on!! It has to change!!!
