This training is designed for congregational boards to participate in as a group. Southern Region staff will ground participants in the foundational work of congregational leadership, providing an introduction to governance, mission, strategy, and goal setting. Boards will also have opportunities for breakout sessions focused on developing goals and priorities together. Designed as an add-on to a congregational board retreat, this training offers practical tools and resources to help boards plan and facilitate their own retreat effectively.
