Taylor Hoffman HR Director
The UUA is pleased to introduce Taylor Hoffman (she/her) as Director of Human Resources (HR), who began the role in January 2024. As Director of HR, Taylor oversees the Human Resources office, staff, policies, benefits and resources, and helps to lead the UUA’s overall commitment to being a workplace where people of all backgrounds and identities can thrive. She joined the UUA as Staff Learning and Relations Director in 2022, and has been Acting HR Director since August 2023.

Taylor Hoffman
Taylor Hoffman has a broad range of industry HR experience with a specific focus in DEI, conflict resolution, learning and development and strategic planning. She joined the UUA in February 2022 and previously served as the UUA's Staff Relations and Learning Director.
Prior to joining the UUA, Taylor worked at a global law firm where she provided training, performance management and employee relations support to the organization’s seven offices. Taylor holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a M.S. in Human Resources Management from Loyola University Chicago in the Quinlan School of Business. She is certified in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace, Intercultural Communication and Conflict Resolution and Sensitive Workplace Investigations from the University of South Florida, the University of California Irvine, and the National Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) respectively.
Taylor lives in and works from Chicago with her cat, Cleo.
