I am an evolving human being with a deep commitment to Unitarian Universalism. I am thrilled to be able to bring more than a decade’s worth of learning to the Hope for Us team and to share what I have learned with our UU congregations. I bring life experience as a leader at the congregational, district and regional levels. I am grateful for the wisdom gained from participating in UUA programs such as Braveheart and Retooling for New Realities. I treasure the fearlessness and humbleness developed while working as Head Teller during General Assemblies. My spiritual practices include reflecting on the Daily Compass emails from the Church of the Larger Fellowship, frequent gratitude’s, occasional use of prayer beads, and mindful recycling. One of my favorite creative outlets is making welcome videos for online worship, a skill I honed during the Covid pandemic. I live in St. Petersburg, Florida with my husband, Mike, where we are near our two adult daughters. Mike and I share out home with our part-terrier, part-whatever dog Bonnie, and our black cats, Jack and Coffee. I recently retired after a 43-year career as a journalist.
