NER Bi-Monthly Religious Education Professionals & Lay Leaders Gathering

A forest of aspens is shown in various stages of foliage from green to orange with 'NER Gathering for RE Professionals and Lay Leaders' overlaid in white text.

Religious education is shared work—woven by staff and volunteers alike. To support that work, the New England Region team is re-launching bi-monthly gatherings for Religious Education Professionals (REPs) and lay leaders engaged in faith formation.

Each session will offer:

  • Learning on timely topics such as safety policies, caring for parents and families and implementing responsive programming.
  • Connection space with peers who understand the challenges and joys of religious education. This is a place where we can share our successes and our experiments.

Schedule

This gathering meets bi-monthly on the third Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:15pm ET. Please see below for our upcoming topics.

  • January – Faith Formation Through Community Building Using Deeper Joy
  • March – Caring for Parents & Families

Join us to strengthen your leadership, build community, and find support for the transformative work of faith formation. Latecomers and early departures are welcome. All RE professionals and lay leaders will receive the Zoom link via an email invite. To ensure receipt, please make sure your congregation’s information is up to date on my.uua.org.
