Grants Available through MUUC

Midwest UU Conference and Foundation

The Midwest Unitarian Universalist Conference (MUUC) administers several funds that are available for grants to individuals or congregations in the MidAmerica Region (MAR) and the Mountain Desert District (MDD). These funds are invested and managed for MUUC by the Midwest Unitarian Universalist Foundation (MUUF).

The Ryder Fund: Originating with a gift from the will of the Rev. Dr. William Henry Ryder, the Ryder Fund is used to support elderly (age 65 and older) UU clergy and their partners, widows and widowers. Grants of $500-$2000 can be used for a variety of needs, such as medical or living expenses. Grants are limited, however, to one-time, discrete needs and are not for ongoing costs.
