This is one adaptation by Unity Consulting. Other models of governance are also used by congregations.
While Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregations have studied and used the concepts of Policy Governance® developed by John and Miriam Carver, they have adapted it to their circumstances, and so these applications cannot be deemed Policy Governance.
