Donate to Proud Haven
Proud Haven provides a safe shelter for LGBTQIA+ youth (ages 18 - 30) experiencing homelessness in Pittsburgh. They also provide emotional support and resources to help LGBTQIA+ youth develop the skills needed to live independently.
Your gift will support improvements to their physical space, including increased accessibility at Haven House, as well as at Q-MNTY Center—operated in partnership with TransYOUniting Pittsburgh—a safe space where people can relate to one another’s journeys and offer support and resources free of judgement.
Program Description
The pandemic has wrought change and created uncertainty for institutions, like our Unitarian Universalist congregations, and our wider world. Who and what are we becoming, individually and collectively? Our GA Sunday service explores these themes as we gather in community to celebrate the best of who we UUs are.
