Hi: I'm the webmaster for Lake Chapala Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (LCUUF) in Ajijic, Mexico. Our staging site is: www.lakechapalauu.org/staging2/ I'm trying to assign widgets to my homepage. Following your instructions, When I go Appearance > Customize > Widgets, all I see is Primary, Secondary, Footer 1-3. So I can use Customize to population the Homepage. However, if I just go straight to Appearance > Widgets, I see additionally Home 1-8. The Metaslider works in Home 1. Then AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT PUTTING A WIDGET comes the list of Upcoming Services. I notice through experimentation that the Primary and Secondary spaces do work. I put UUA Featured Upcoming Service in Primary, and List Category Posts in Secondary and they work. But I can't seem to configure the Homepage with widgets within Customize as you instruct. Thanks so much, Federico
