If you are a President, President-Elect, or Vice President of a congregation in the Southern Region, you are invited to join our monthly Presidents Gatherings! The first thirty minutes of the gathering is a training specifically geared toward the role of President. The remaining time is spent in a Q&A with regional presidents about current issues you are facing or sharing best practices.

These gatherings are a great way to get connected to other congregations and to regional staff. You will also take away a comprehensive resource list of information and training available for boards.

The Presidents’ Gathering sessions are held on the 2nd Thursday of most months, beginning in September, and ending in May. Our starting time is 6:00 PM Central/7:00 PM Eastern, and these sessions will last up to 90 minutes. (Please note, we take a break in December.)

Please note, you only need to register for this event series once — your initial registration covers the entire series! You will receive an email with Zoom information a few days prior to each session.

COST:

Free for APF Honor Congregations (2024-2025)
$100 for congregations that were not APF Honor Share in 2024-2025, (the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025)

Not sure if your congregation was an APF Honor Congregation last fiscal year? Send us an email, sr@uua.org or search for search for your Congregation. Honor congregations will have this recognition noted below their contact information: “Honor Congregation (2024)”.
