Kristen Cox Roby (she/her) is an award-winning journalist with more than 20 years of editing and writing experience. Before becoming UU World's executive editor, she spent sixteen years with the USA TODAY Network in a variety of roles, most recently as a regional storytelling editor and project manager shaping high-level enterprise journalism. An Alabama native, she holds a bachelor's degree from the Missouri School of Journalism and a master's degree in English and creative writing from Binghamton University.

Kristen resides in north Alabama with her partner and two children.
