Donte Hilliard
Donte (D. Nebi) Hilliard is a demi-theistic humanist mystic, life coach, erotic wellness guide, performance artist, reiki practitioner and minister who orients to the Pan-African or Africana aesthetic as the thread that connects Blaq people throughout the African diaspora. His work explores storytelling practices across the diaspora with emphasis on Oral traditions, Rituals, Cosmology, Song, Dance, Drumming, and textile art. His work emerges at the nexus of Liturgical Theology, Embodiment, Art making and Social Movements.
Donte has been affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association since 2016, serves as a Learning Fellow for Worship in The Church of the Larger Fellowship and worships in the community of Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism (BLUU) where he also serves as a Worship Associate. He holds Masters degrees in Black Studies and Religious Studies and is currently a Doctor of Ministry student at Meadville Lombard Theological Seminary.
