Kathryn Hamilton Warren, a member of First Unitarian Church of Dallas, is senior lecturer in the English department at the University of Texas at Arlington. In her writing she attempts to connect the study of literature to the social and political challenges of everyday life. Her essays have appeared in College Literature, The Concord Saunterer: A Journal of Thoreau Studies, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Vox, and American Literary Realism.
