Elizabeth Mount

Elizabeth Mount (they/them) is the settled minister at the UU Church of Cheyenne, Wyoming and has been a member of the First Unitarian Society of Denver, Colorado from the age of 13. They graduated from Meadville Lombard and received fellowship in 2018. Elizabeth was ordained in the First UU Church of Indiana, PA in 2020. Prior to entering seminary, Elizabeth was an organizer with environmental and Latinx community projects in Western North Carolina, the Appalachian coal fields, and the highlands of Guatemala.

They currently serve the denomination as a member of the UUA's Board of Trustees and previously served on the Journey Toward Wholeness Transformation Committee with the goal of ensuring our UU values are fully reflected in all the work we do across our shared faith. They enjoy reading the works of Octavia Butler and more recently, the Monk and Robot series by Becky Chambers, and find deep wisdom in the hopes and fears expressed through sci-fi and fantasy as much as any ancient mythologies or traditional theological explorations.
