In 2012 a formal “re-unification” of Unitarian churches in Hungary and Transylvania (Romania) took place. The congregations in Hungary make up a District of the re-established Hungarian Unitarian Church which is headquartered in Kolozsvar, Transylvania (Romania)—see below. The HUC is affiliated with the ICUU and the IARF.
