Hello, I am starting on a new site using the UUA WordPress Theme and would like to create a child theme for dealing with potential customizations beyond those built into the theme. I have built many WP sites, all with child themes as recommended by WP. That said, I am in need of specifics on the correct code to get the child theme functions.php started, to properly enqueue the parent and child theme stylesheets. I see others who have asked for this but it doesn't seem clear that the correct code has been posted that will withstand updates to the theme. I hope to hear from Chris about this. I'm eager to get the project underway. I'd also be happy to participate in the beta program as I would hope that this project can stay in active development.
