White Fragility Book
In the discussion guide to Robin DiAngelo's popular Beacon Press book White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism, religious educator Gail Forsyth-Vail invites Unitarian Universalists to reflect on the book's concepts and apply it in their own work for anti-racist, multicultural transformation.
Written with white participants in mind, the discussion guide (PDF, 24 pages) offers an outline for three 90-minute sessions that explore the book's concepts in a UU context.
Though written when there was only one version of the book, we anticipate that the guide can also be used for the young readers' edition of White Fragility.
