Our General Assembly Youth Team works hard to prepare programming that supports community-building, connection to the wider conference, and empowerment of Youth having a say in the business of our denomination. Come for fun and new friendship, and get inspired in community with other UUs!

Note that during General Sessions (where the business of the association is taken up), the Youth community typically sits together. That space will be visually indicated (historically pink bandanas and giant palm trees), as well as being majority teens.

We’ll review rules, talk about resources available to youth, begin building our community covenant, and orient to the program ahead. Mandatory. If you cannot attend, please attend make-up orientation on the morning you arrive.

  The in person space will be a closed space for BIPOC UUs of all ages; the online space will be open to all youth and emerging adult attendees and can utilize breakouts for affinity space. We’ll show some short clips from Moana, then talk about how the story connects to UU theology and identity. Watch Moana in advance to prepare!
