March is Small Congregation Month! The UUA’s Congregational Life Smallers Team is hosting a month of learning for small congregations. We will be hosting a webinar each week in the month of March on a variety of topics:

  • Wednesday, March 5 at 8 pm ET — Deeper Joy with Jennica Davis-Hockett and staff from the Youth and Emerging Adult Team at the UUA. This workshop will be focused on community building activities.
  • Tuesday, March 11 at 8 pm ET — Social Action for Small Congregations with members of the Organizing Strategy Team of the UUA.
  • Thursday, March 20 at 8 pm ET — Deep Listening with Rev. Dr. Jason Cook at UU Wellsprings. This is a foundational element of good communication.

The final week of Small Congregation Month with be dedicated to convening groups of small congregation staff and leaders. This will be time to network with others in a similar role and share your experiences:

  • Tuesday, March 25 at 8 pm ET — Ordained Staff
  • Wednesday, March 26 at 8 pm ET — Non-ordained staff
  • Thursday, March 27 at 8 pm ET — Volunteer Lay Leaders
