Helping Our Fellow Congregations

Do you know about the UUA's Disaster Relief Fund? This fund was created to help congregations who need assistance in times of disaster. The fund assists congregations who have experience floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, severe winter storms or any other disaster.

But in order for the UUA to help congregations in need, we need individuals and congregations to donate to the fund. Without donations, we can't help those in need. Please consider donating or scheduling a collection from your congregation.

Our Disaster Relief Fund is part of a covenant—a covenant between the UUA and congregations, between congregations who give generously and those in need, and with our community partners. Through aiding our congregations, their members and their community partners, we are able to embody our faith and values.

Learn more about this fund and how to apply or how to donate at the UUA website.

Also, just a note, the UUA and CER offices will be closed on Friday, July 2 and Monday, July 5 for the Fourth of July holiday. Because of this we are taking next week off and the Better Together blog will return on Monday, July 12th.
