By exhibiting at the 2014 General Assembly (GA), you will be contributing to the learning, enrichment, and networking opportunities that GA attendees look forward to each year. GA offers numerous ways to connect with other Unitarian Universalists (UU) and UU-related organizations. The Exhibit Hall is always a popular focal point; it provides a gathering place, rest stop, marketplace, and food concessions for GA attendees. The GA Exhibit Hall is open to all GA registrants.
For more information on exhibiting at GA, read the 2014 Exhibitor's Prospectus (PDF). Exhibit space cannot be assigned without agreement to the Exhibit Space Terms & Conditions (PDF).
The deadline for reserving space is January 31, 2014. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Each booth includes:
Exhibitors will receive a packet from the decorator with information on how to order additional tables and chairs, as well as phone lines, electrical outlets, audio-visual equipment, carpeting, and custom decorating.
Exhibiting at General Assembly does not equal endorsement by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA).
The Unitarian Universalist Association is committed to a diverse marketplace of ideas. Participation in our exhibit hall does not necessarily mean the UUA endorses the position of any given exhibitor.
Everyone in the GA Exhibit Hall must display either a valid GA registration name badge or an Exhibit Hall Security Pass at all times. An Exhibit Hall Security Pass will be required for admittance to the Hall during set-up and break-down times (one hour before opening and one hour after closing each day).
To arrange Exhibit Hall Security Passes for its booth staff, the exhibitor must provide to the General Assembly Office by June 13 a list of all of the staffers who will be working at the booth. The exhibitor must also designate one person who will be on-site as the person in authority for their booth. A personalized Security Pass will be printed for each staff person. There is no additional cost to the exhibitor for Security Passes arranged by June 13. Security Passes for additional staff determined after June 13 can be purchased on-site for a $20 fee. The designated on-site person in authority is the only person authorized to purchase additional Security Passes. All Exhibit Hall Security Passes must be for specific individuals. Security Passes are not generic and are not transferable.
The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) requires vendors to join in a commitment to sustainability by agreeing to comply with the following guidelines required under APEX/ASTM Level 1sustainability standards for meetings and events.
Exhibitors may be requested to participate in an interview about their sustainable practices prior to General Assembly. Exhibitors are informed that compliance with these Terms and Conditions may be verified onsite. Participation in verification enables Exhibitors to be eligible for additional, free promotional opportunities at GA, including mention in Plenary slides, on the event website, at our event Green Booth and in the printed program.
For questions related to these sustainability Terms & Conditions or to volunteer to be verified, please contact Aaron Elliott: email@example.com.
All Exhibitors must agree to the Terms and Conditions in order to exhibit at the UUA General Assembly. Any questions, contact Steve Ransom at firstname.lastname@example.org or (617) 948-4209.
