A Very Fond Farewell
Farewell Folks,
It is time to say goodbye. As some of you know, I am leaving the UUA. I could not go without expressing my deep gratitude for amazing colleagues and the opportunity to serve Unitarian Universalism with you.
I am looking forward to devoting time to practicing at the intersections of contemplation, faith formation, and activism. I will be joining the Napa Valley Unitarian Universalists as their part-time assistant minister beginning in August.
As I reflect on the shared ministry in the Pacific Western Region and all the ways we practice Big Faith, No Borders I’m delighted and amazed. I am most proud of the way we break down barriers to love and invite Beloved Community into being. If there ever was a time for living into Covenant and a faith that calls us to wholeness, inclusion, and greater good, it is now.
I wish you courage. I hope you take time to reflect, listen, and respond with love and justice. I invite you to go deeper, reach out more often, and let yourselves be swept up in grace as you transform lives and heal the world.
In faith,
Jeanelyse
