Delegate credentials are mailed to certified congregations in late February. Credentials are mailed in bright pink 9”x12" envelopes. If your certified congregation does not receive its credentials by mid-March, contact the General Assembly Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or (617) 948-4209.
When you receive the mailing check to make sure that there is a credential card for each of your congregation’s eligible delegates, including eligible parish ministers, community ministers, ministers emeritus/a, and religious educators having achieved CRE-ML status.
Be sure that credentials are signed by a minister or a church officer before they are distributed to your delegates.
In 2013, General Assembly delegates passed a bylaw change that allows for UUA elections to be conducted by electronic ballots. If an election is necessary in 2014, instructions on how delegates will cast votes electronically will accompany the credential cards. Please be sure to read the instructions carefully and completely.
