Other Readings: “Know that Love Is True”
How can we be grateful?
When life seems to fall apart?
When our restless nights of worry
Keep us focused from the start
Of the challenges awaiting
When our every move is measured
And we lose sight of our values
And the good things we have treasured?
Just be grateful
Just be thankful.
Just be hopeful.
It will find you
Look around and see your family
See your friends
And know that Love’s true.
See the beauty of the day
Of dawn and dusk
And of the evening
When hope brightens with the stars
And life’s abundance is believing
(That) Thanksgiving is our gift
to one another and all that’s living
Thanksgiving is our gift
To those in memory
And all their giving
Thanksgiving is our gift
Of mysteries of higher power
Of Life Force and of Science
Of God and Goddess
Or of a flower.
Just be grateful
Just be thankful.
Just be hopeful.
It will find you.
Look around
See all that’s living.
See friends and Family
And know that Love Is True.
