Press Room
Our faith tradition calls us to be actively engaged in justice-making, by advocating on behalf of oppressed peoples, working toward a healthier, more sustainable world, and witnessing for a more just and tolerant society.
We are proud of the work Unitarian Universalists across the country have done to these ends, whether it is helping residents of the Gulf Coast rebuild their lives, advocating for marriage equality, calling for an end to the U.S. occupation of Iraq, or any number of other social justice issues.
If you are a member of a congregation looking for resources to help publicize your community’s work, our media kit page has useful resources, including documents explaining Unitarian Universalism and biographical information on the Unitarian Universalist Association president, Rev. William Sinkford.
If you are a reporter, our news article index is a sortable database of articles on Unitarian Universalist activism, from local television stations and small-town weekly newspapers to the New York Times and Washington Post. Our press release page contains a chronological list of select press releases from the past three years.
