All Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) member congregations are required to complete the annual Certification of Membership report by the deadline, Monday, February 3, 2014 at 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
To certify online, an officer from your congregation must log in to the congregation's Data Services account for certification, using the 4-digit church ID and case-sensitive password. Please attempt logging in well before the deadline so that any login/password problems can be resolved before the days leading up to the deadline.
If your congregation already has at least one authorized person using the my.UUA.org account system, that person may log into his or her my.UUA.org account to complete the certification submission. See below for details on my.UUA.org.
Congregations that do not certify by the deadline are not eligible to send voting delegates to General Assembly 2014.
Congregations can manage their list of member names and addresses (for delivery of UU World magazine) and staff/leader information (which appears in the online Directory) all throughout the year using the my.UUA.org ccount system.
Individuals who have already been authorized as data updaters for the my.UUA.org system may log in to their personal accounts to make these changes. First-time users must begin by completing the my.UUA.org registration process. Note: The process for registering a new account and becoming authorized in the Unitarian Universalist Association's (UUA's) system as a Data Updater may take a day or two.
We offer resources to member congregations, related organizations, districts, and UUA committees. We collect data from UUA member congregations including the mailing addresses of its members (for sending UU World magazine) and the statistical and membership totals supplied by congregations annually during Certification of Membership.
Data Services also provides mailing lists and data to any member congregation, district or related organization for, but not limited to, the promotion of their sponsored events and selected materials, the cultivation of relationships with their constituencies and the calculation of growth analysis.
The Office of Data Services collects data on ministers, districts, congregation members, UU World subscribers, congregation staff, and elected officers. This data is vital—it is published in the Unitarian Universalist Association Directory and analyzed at the district level. Only membership and religious education enrollment totals for all Unitarian Universalist congregations are released to the media; no individual congregation's data is made public.
