How do I use the online system to submit our membership numbers?
To complete congregational Certification online, log into the Data Services Login Page for Congregations. Once you are logged in you can select "Begin Certification of Membership 2015." The Certification form will display your congregation's previous values for last year's certified data. Make whatever changes are necessary and then click Submit Certification to save and certify.
In addition to submitting the certified membership number, this system will also allow you to update the congregation's mailing and meeting addresses, phone number, email, etc. This congregational contact information appears on the Find a Congregation page.
The deadline to complete Certification of Membership is Monday, February 2, at 5 p.m. PST. After you certify your congregation's membership number and other information, you are free to log in to the system again and make changes to the data you have submitted, as long as you do so by the deadline! You will not be able to log in and make changes after 5 p.m. PST on February 2.
Remember that while anyone at your congregation can be authorized to input the congregation’s membership number on the web site, the number that is entered must be certified as accurate by a minister or officer of the congregation. Take care when certifying your membership.
Note: If you are already an authorized data updater in the my.UUA.org system, you may also use your my.UUA.org account to complete the annual certification. Log in to your personal my.UUA.org account, then choose the "Congregation Certification" button and you'll automatically be redirected into the Data Services Login for Congregations account described above.
