Alice Southworth Schulman, Class of 1954, Simmons Scholarship for Unitarian Universalist Women
"It means a great deal to me to be able to help two organizations that I care about so passionately. Simmons and the UUA have both had a tremendous influence on my life."
—Alice Southworth Schulman
Annually, two scholarships are given to support Unitarian Universalist women attending Simmons College in Boston.
Although the endowment fund is administrated by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), students must apply through the Office of Student Financial Services at Simmons College. We recommend that applicants also submit a letter of recommendation from a member or leader of her congregation.
Only first-year students may apply for the scholarship, but recipients are eligible to receive support for four years if they remain in good academic standing.

This work is made possible by the generosity of individual donors and congregations. Please consider making a donation today.
