Crossing Paths: Transgender Welcome and Ministry
Presenters: Alex Kapitan, Rev. Paul J. Langston-Daley, Rev. Joshua M. Pawelek
Sponsors: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Ministries and Transgender Religious Professional Unitarian Universalists Together
As a pioneer in gay/lesbian justice movements, Unitarian Universalism is now called to be a leader in celebrating the T of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender). This workshop explored ministry with and for transgender individuals and communities, discussing how congregations can be more welcoming and how this welcome can extend beyond the congregation.
