Argentina
Paz y Armonia (Peace and Harmony)
There is an emerging fellowship in Argentina that has flourished as a result of contact with Unitarian Universalists (UU). This group is located at the southernmost point of South America, on an island called Tierra del Fuego, or "Land of Fire." Although Argentina is known as being a traditional Christian country, many Argentineans are looking for an alternative answer for their spiritual needs. In 2002, Dr. Lilian Burlando founded the Center for Study and Meditation (Centro de Estudio y Meditacion) in Ushuaia where worship, meditation and other activities take place. The fellowship meets twice a month, the second and last Sunday of each month from 11 a.m. to noon and the first Wednesday of each month from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Besides worship meetings (here called meditation) the Center promotes other activities such as frequent open meetings for people going through the bereavement process. Also workshops focusing on topics such as "Love and Sexuality," "Analyzing Our Own Values and Beliefs," "Simple Living," "Burnout," and "World's Religions." The Center offers a place for people interested in the study of philosophy, theology, and psychology. UU authors and other writers such s Paul Tillich, Thomas Merton, and Thich Nhat Hanh are studied and discussed. It is a place to share opinions while providing basic nurture for our souls, through meditation. Paz y Armonia Center seeks and encourages contact and visits from UUs around the world.

Deutscher Unitarier Religionsgemeinschaft (German Unitarians)
Deutsche Unitarier Religiongemeinschaft is a lay-led community of about 1100 members and 500 "friends" organized in 23 congregaions and a cooperative but independent youth fellowship (Bund Deutsch-Unitrischer Jugend). Both are organized according to democratic principles. The community descends from the Free Protestants, a private association in the Palatinate founded in 1876, and legally changed its name in 1950 to Deutsche Unitarier Religionsgemenschaft (German Unitarians). The movement considers the religiousness of every person to be derived from one's autonomy and capability of fulfilling one's life in a meaningful and responsible way. It tends toward scientific and philosophical humanism while acknowledging other faith traditions as well. Within this framework, the members recognize the liberty of shaping and developing their individual beliefs, and they agree on a number of (democratically resolved) basic ideas about religion, belief, human beings, life, and living together. The community runs a medium-sized conference center at Klingberg near Hamburg and publishes a bimonthly newsletter, Unitarische Blatter fur ganzheitliche Kultur. #

Nigeria
Bishop Adeniran Adedeji Isola's liberal religious outlook led to his break with the Anglican Church of Nigeria in 1915, and to the founding of what would become the Unitarian Brotherhood Church (Ijo Isokan Gbogbo Eda) in Lagos in 1917. This congregation offers Nigerians a religion that is based upon liberal Christianity but which is also welcoming to traditional and cultural practices. In 1994 another congregation, First Unitarian Church of Nigeria, was founded in a different section of Lagos. And, today, two of the sons of the founder of First Unitarian Church (Olufemi and Reverend Mati Matimoju) lead the two congregations. #

Philippines
The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Philippines (UUCP)
Through the deep-seated need to have religious education materials for his congregations in Negros Occidental, Rev. Toribio S. Quimada, Lay Minister of the Iglesia Universal de Cristo, acquired books through the Universalist Church in America. A self-educated Pentecostal minister and traditional farmer, Rev. Quimada preached that God is love and because of that love salvation is a gift to all. He defended his faith to the point of his excommunication. He requested the UCA to send missionaries to The Philippines to proclaim his newly-found faith and plant churches. Instead of sending missionaries over, the UCA provided moral support to Rev. Quimada in founding the Universalist Church of the Philippines, on April 25, 1955. In 1995, it became the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Philippines, duly recognized by the Philippine Government. UU churches are widely distributed n Negros Island and there are new congregations in Bicutan and Manilla. #

Romania
Magyar Unitárius Egyház (Hungarian Unitarian Church)
The Hungarian Unitarian Church traces its ancestry to 16th-century Transylvania and is the product of the Radical Reformation. Under the spiritual influence of Francis David, the founder of Transylvanian Unitarianism, the Diet of Torda proclaimed a law of toleration and freedom of conscience in 1568. Presently the number of Unitarian congregations with settled ministers is approximately 150, and the total membership is over 80,000 individuals. The Hungarian Unitarian Church has a three-level structure: congregations, six districts, and headquarters. Training for the ministry is carried out at the Unitarian Faculty of the Protestant Theological Institute. The Church publishes two periodicals: Kereszteny Magveto (Christian Sower) and Unitarius Kozlony (Unitarian Herald).
In 2012 a formal "re-unification" of Unitarian churches in Hungary and Transylvania (Romania) took place. The congregations in Hungary make up a District of the re-established Hungarian Unitarian Church which is headquartered in Kolozsvar, Transylvania (Romania). #

The group attracts a diverse membership: anglophone ex-patriots, permanent residents, Swiss, and visitors of different nationalities, ethnicities, belief systems—- long-time UUs as well as curious newcomers to the denomination. They meet usually on the 3rd Sunday of the month, at 4pm in the Quaker House, 13 Avenue du Mervelet, Petit Saconnex. It is a lay-led fellowship affiliated with the European Unitarian Universalists and programs are conducted in English. They offer two types of service. On some months the focus is on seasonal observances drawn from various religious traditions. These are joint services with adults and children meeting together. On other Sundays they examine UU themes, using various UU series as a framework. For these services a concurrent youth service is offered for children three years and older. Younger children are welcome with an accompanying adult. ^
