Beliefs & Principles

Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion that embraces theological diversity; we welcome different beliefs and affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person.

Chalice

A flame within a chalice (a cup with a stem and foot) is a symbol of the Unitarian Universalist faith.

Worship

Unitarian Universalists have a rich religious community with Sunday and holiday services and life passage celebrations.

Ministries

Unitarian Universalist ministries reflect our acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth.

Social Justice

Working for justice in our world is a principal way for Unitarian Universalists to express their faith.

General Assembly 2013

General Assembly is for Everyone

General Assembly (GA) should be welcoming, accessible, and inclusive of people of all abilities. Our faith calls us to regard each human being with inherent worth and dignity. Beyond the physical accessibility of the facilities, we use ramps, captioning, seating cut-outs, and more. We endeavor to take the next step, to truly welcome people with disabilities into every facet of GA. Request accessibility services and reserve equipment now.
