Annual Program Fund and GIFT Program Contributions

Annual Program Fund and GIFT Program Contributions are based on accurate reporting by your congregation during Certification.

Certification of Membership for 2015 will be open from 11/17/2014 to 02/02/2015

Data Services has many resources to help congregations in understanding how to complete their Certification of Members. Visit Certification of Membership for Congregations for more information on completing certification this year.

During the annual congregational Certification of Membership, you are asked to report the total Operating Expenses from your most recently closed fiscal year.  Operating Expenses  are used in some instances to determine Annual Program Fund (APF), or district contribution rates, and is the basis for GIFT Program giving requests. Please use the format below to calculate the correct number to report.

Total Expenses—(APF Contributions + District/Region Contributions + Capital Expenses)

= Total Operating Expenses
