Congregational support is vital to developing youth leadership. In order to support congregational youth leadership development, the Youth Leadership Grants will match the youth's congregation’s contributions up to $300. Youth must obtain a letter of endorsement from the minister, president, or treasurer of their congregation showing financial support.
Youth Leadership Grants can be used for a variety of opportunities from UU College of Social Justice events, service trips with the UUSC or the UUA’s International Office, regional/district trainings, camps and conferences, General Assembly and more!
Youth Leadership Grants will be disbursed on a rolling basis, so you can apply at any time.
Youth Leadership grants are capped at a maximum disbursement of $300.
Funding for these grants is provided by the generosity of our UUA member congregations via the Annual Program Fund or the GIFT Program.
