The total cost to Thrive Young Adult participants is $325.00, which covers all programming, lodging and food. Payment (or arrangement to do so) is due as soon as possible before the event.

If you requested financial aid or a travel subsidy on your registration form, please do not pay the registration fee until we contact you with the amount of calculated financial assistance you are granted.

Financial Assistance

Through the generosity of our donors, the UUA Annual Program Fund and the Alumni Giving Program, some need-based financial assistance was made available for participating in this program. If you received financial assistance, you have already been notified of the amount you were granted.

Even if you can afford it out-of-pocket, you may wish to fundraise for the program and travel. It can be a meaningful opportunity for loved ones, other UUs, and your congregational community to be asked and to contribute to your spiritual and leadership development.

Leadership Development Grant

All participants are encouraged to apply for a matching UUA Young Adult Leadership Grant. Please submit your grant application prior to the event.

Congregational Support

We encourage you to reach out to your congregation's minister, president or other religious professionals to ask for financial sponsorship or support from the congregation. You can print out and use a letter (PDF) to help start the conversation. Let us know the results, so we can look for their payment on your behalf.

Faithify

FAITHIFY is a crowdfunding platform for Unitarian Universalist ministry projects. This includes everything from youth work to justice, service, buildings, staff positions, and emerging ministries. As a UU looking to participate in a UU-faith based event, you can place your request for assistance on Faithify and publicize it on social media and among your congregation.
