The UU Church of Little Rock has an active and growing young adult ministry. Young adults at UUCLR are involved on every one of the congregation's committees, through which they serve the congregation. Weekly social events, monthly worship and regular social service programs form the core of the young adult ministry here, and the group leads Sunday worship on a regular basis for the entire congregation. Young adults offer religious education to youth at UUCLR, making connections that are vital to the bridging process. The young adult group is actively seeking to grow and to make connections throughout the region, and is beginning outreach to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a largely commuter university nearby, and to young adult parents. The small mid-sized congregation has included young adult ministry in the portfolio of the Director for Lifespan Relgious Education.
