Join Us at General Assembly 2018!
Our theme this year is “All Are Called,” reminding us that while we may be called in many different ways, we are all called. General Assembly (GA) gives us an opportunity to navigate the landscape of today’s world together, joining our efforts to continue crafting this faith we love. The manner and ways in which we conduct our business is the institutional embodiment of how we live our faith. This year we will discern and discuss multiple recommendations for bylaw changes, justice issues, and more. Please join us in what promises to be a series of rich conversations. Stay tuned for Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Board Office Hours, where we can visit with you.
One of the key responsibilities of our UUA Board is linkage or simply put: supporting relationships between the board and its “sources of authority and accountability,” one of which is our member congregations. Over the last year, we have been so grateful for the support, feedback, and challenges you have provided us. Our faith is at a critical juncture as we question our practices and work towards building beloved community. General Assembly is a key opportunity for linkage, and we hope to continue to be in conversation with you about the things that are on your minds, hearts, and souls. As always, we welcome your questions and feedback at board [at] uua [dot] org.
