The Southern Region Board Support Training will provide members of congregational governing boards with a toolbox of in-depth material, including: governance; the board work checklist; roles and responsibilities in the congregation; the role of mission in Unitarian Universalist governance; church year calendars; shared ministry and committees on shared ministry; yearly goal setting and congregational evaluations; ins and outs of board meetings; and additional resources for continued education throughout the church year.

Current congregational board members and their ministers are invited to attend this training.

Materials for this training will be available by July 22nd. On August 17th you are invited to attend a processing session (virtual/online).

There is no charge for this training, but individual registration is required to attend the August 17th processing session. Registration will close on Friday, August 9th (or earlier, if we reach our maximum capacity limit).
