"Giving Games"
Peter Singer's The Life You Can Save website offers Giving Games, a workshop-style approach to philanthropy education. Participants are invited to explore the guiding values and effectiveness of pre-selected charitable organizations, deciding as a group which will receive a real donation. In an article in Psychology Today, "Applying the Scientific Method to Charity," Unitarian Universalist Gleb Tsipursky, wrote about facilitating Giving Games at his congregation, First Unitarian Universalist of Columbus (Ohio).
