Facilitators should be attentive to the different life experiences and knowledge participants bring to the group, particularly if the group spans a wide age range. Help the group share the floor respectfully and honor all members’ individual contributions and questions. Assume diversity, especially economic diversity. Make time to do the Spiritual Preparation reflection or exercises offered for facilitators with each workshop; preparing ahead in these ways will help you be an effective facilitator.
