David Lauth feels a calling to serve congregations and people experiencing conflict. He worked with a number of congregations as a conflict consultant for the former Prairie Star District. He has also worked extensively as a labor and employment mediator, as well as a mediator for the Minnesota Department of Human Rights and the Dispute Resolution Center in St. Paul.
He recently relocated to Madison, WI from Minneapolis, where he was a member of First Universalist Church for more than 25 years. He served on the First Universalist Board of Trustees, and as its President. He has served on the MidAmerica Regional Board of Trustees, and as its President. He is also a singer/songwriter, and has provided music for many UU congregations throughout the Midwest.
He is grateful to be part of the Hope for Us team, and for the opportunity to serve a faith he loves deeply.
