Finance and Administration Manager, MidAmerica Region

As Finance and Administration Manager for the MidAmerica Region of the UUA, Andrew manages all financial and administrative operations for the MidAmerica Region. Prior to his appointment as Finance and Administration Manager, Andrew served as Business Manager at the Second Unitarian Church of Chicago where he oversaw all aspects of financial operations, administration, and facility management. Andrew also previously served as Operations Manager at the Chicago Center for Music Education and as Enrollment Coordinator at the Merit School of Music. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from DePaul University, Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from ESSEC Business School Online, Certificate in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School Online, and an Executive Scholar Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Andrew is also a certified nonprofit accounting professional.

In addition to his financial and administrative background, Andrew is also an accomplished musician. Raised in Milwaukee, WI, Andrew studied classical percussion and jazz studies at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, and Milwaukee High School of the Arts before moving to Chicago. Andrew has performed overseas at the North Sea Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz Festival, and Tuscany Jazz Festival and has also received numerous local and national awards from the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Berklee College of Music, and the Luminarts Cultural Foundation in Jazz Improvisation, Jazz Composition, and Jazz Arranging.
