Peer Pastoral Care training (formerly Youth Chaplain Training) provides youth and adults with skills to support individuals who need a listening ear in UU youth communities. This training imparts invaluable life skills, such as affirming and emotionally supporting UU youth, helping manage crises, ensuring a healthy, respectful, and safe environment, and bringing spiritual resources to the various communities in which these leaders ultimately participate.
Congregationally sponsored youth (14 to 18 year olds, in high school or equivalent) and adults are welcome to attend.
Hours: Exact schedule has not been set, and Activities will happen within these hours. A more refined schedule will be published 2 weeks before.
Register through February 8th.
Fee: $75 per person, sliding scale, sliding scale based on your assessment of your ability to pay.
