Tara Humphries

Tara Humpries, wearing a white top and a white stole, smiles broadly while speaking. A video screen with an image of part of a sanctuary is visible behind them.

Rev. Tara Humphries (they/them) serves as the Developmental Minister at Allen Avenue Unitarian Universalist Church in Portland, Maine. Before returning to Maine, Tara served as the Assistant Minister at the Eliot Church in Natick, MA, and Associate for Community Formation at Andover Newton Seminary. They live their faith outside of work by supervising the lay Pastoral Care Team at Sanctuary Boston and volunteering at a therapeutic horse farm for children and adults with disabilities, and are a proud member of TRUUST and CLF's prison ministry program.
