Shanice L. Bryant

Shanice L. Bryant was a UUA Office at the United Nations intern for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Along with interning, Shanice is a full time Master of Social Work candidate at New York University (NYU) in the one-year advanced standing program. She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. Throughout her studies Shanice worked with various non-profit organizations related to reproductive justice, education inclusion, and access to resources for individuals experiencing poverty. She is a proud member of organizations that are devoted to service, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and National Association of Black Social Workers.

Shanice's work is centered around using purpose and humanity to dismantle oppressive systems and restore strength in those who have been dehumanized. She is passionate about eliminating inequalities in disenfranchised communities globally through promotion of civil and human rights and self-liberation.
