Samantha Hussey is an intern with the NGO Committee on Disarmament, Peace, and Security (NGOCDPS) and is working closely with the Unitarian Universalist Association’s United Nations Office. She is also a student at the SUNY (State University of New York) Global Center studying Global & International Studies and Public Justice. Samantha is originally from Rochester, New York. Along with her interest in disarmament, Samantha is also interested in human rights and migration. In the past, she has worked as the community resettlement intern at a refugee resettlement non-profit in London, United Kingdom. During her time with the NGOCDPS Samantha has worked with the NGO Committee on Human Rights and partner organizations of the NGOCDPS. She is also continually involved in the General Assembly First Committee of the United Nations. During her free time, Samantha enjoys exploring New York City and skiing in upstate New York.
