Elisa Davy Pearmain

Elisa Davy Pearmain has been a professional storyteller for over 25 years. She received her Masters in Education from Lesley University in Creative Arts in Education. She has been a storyteller-in-residence for the Boston Public Schools and has taught teachers to integrate storytelling across the curriculum through the Lesley University Masters Program for 14 years. Elisa earned a second Masters, in Counseling Psychology, in 1998 and works part-time as a licensed mental health counselor. The author of two award-winning books, Doorways to the Soul: 52 Wisdom Tales from Around the World (Cleveland: Pilgrim Press, 1998) and Once Upon a Time: storytelling to Teach Character and Prevent Bullying (Greensboro, NC: Character Development Group, 2006), Elisa is a lifelong member of the First Parish Church in Lincoln, MA.
