Alisha Zou is a gender equity intern at the UU-UNO and a Master of Social Work student at Columbia University. She has completed a Master of Arts in East Asian Studies from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies and Public Policy from Rice University. She currently calls New York City her home, but grew up in Houston, Texas; Beijing, China; and Milton, Massachusetts. Alisha has a wide variety of internship and work experience, from academic research to nonprofit advocacy to institutional financial services.
