This forum will focus on current federal and state policies impacting immigrant communities and what we can do to support immigrants in Massachusetts.

Speakers include Rep. Kate Hogan, Rep. Tami Gouveia, Amy Grunder of the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy (MIRA) Coalition, Laura Wagner of Unitarian Universalist Mass Action, and Doris Landaverde of the Massachusetts Temporary Protected Status (TPS) Coalition. In addition, local neighbors will share their stories about the impact of federal immigration policy in their lives. Participants will also learn about the Safe Communities Act and the Work & Family Mobility Act. It's recommended that participants register for this event in advance.

The forum is hosted by First Parish Church UU of Stow & Acton (FPC); Unitarian Universalist Mass Action; Safe Communities Coalition; and Three Rivers Affinity Groups. FPC’s facilities are wheelchair accessible.
