In the days following the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis, our country has been confronted with the reality of the systemic repression and murder of people of color at the hands of police, and the systemic white supremacy upon which our country was founded. We recognize that this is a transformational moment for our country and our faith, and the MidAmerica Regional Staff is available to support our congregational leaders and members in speaking this prophetic truth.
